The No Kings rallies have been peaceful. But when was there ever a protest with violence in Washington, DC? I'm racking my brain on that one....Oh yeah, when YOUR people showed up to overturn an election, beat up cops, and threatened Dem. and Repub. legislators. Trump pardoned all those thugs.

I was at the last one, it was quite pleasant. Guy next to me had a sign that read "Nazi punks fuck off." We talked about how I remember seeing that same sentiment from 1982.

A few of the cops driving by waved to us. Some folks drove by nice and slow handing out bottled water.

I suggested to my wife that a strong candidate for next year's Peace Prize is JB Pritzker. She said, "Maybe."

We are now running around the house singing "Maybe JB" to the tune of the Buddy Holly song.

Just in case, I'll be attaching my sign to something... sturdy. Y'know, 'cause my arms got a little tired holding my sign up over my head. Ya gotta watch out for that kind of muscle strain. And stay hydrated.
