literally would not have the support system and friend group I have without livejournal. sure, some friends I technically met at some convention or other, but lj was how we kept in touch, and some bonds have been strengthened by going through the hells of lurk and twitter together

I can litterly trace the arc of my last 25 years because of a random interaction of my friend to a then random poster on Gaia online.

That poster is now one of my dearest friends and this whole thing was a real small domino effect. Current friend group, wife, etc, because of this small thing
