I got to meet @repvalhoyle.bsky.social today which was just freaking awesome. It started totally awkward which is typical for me. I was amazed by how humble and approachable she was. We got to talk to like 10~ 15 mins and it was just awesome.

I had shingles on my lower back at 19 yr old. It laid me out for weeks so bad I couldn’t wear a shirt. Once they healed any time I exerted myself and sweat dripped on the scars I would experience fist clenching pain. After 19 yrs it’s finally mostly better, but still flares when stressed.
The shingles vaccine could lay me out for a week and I'd prefer that to shingles.
All over my FB people talking about their bad experiences with shingles vax and dissuading each other from getting it! We need to give people real info on how to mitigate the symtoms caused by vaccines because vaccines are always better than meeting a virus unprepared. Yet drs aren't coaching ppl

The department has “identified” those vulnerabilities because of a LOT of very dedicated activists and community members who repeatedly and in force of numbers made EPD and the city very aware of them. When we fight, we win.

Interesting admission of a sort. ACA is so damn important to voters we can’t get rid of it. We need to reform it and have tons of ideas that we will never show you because they are only rumors.
