Antisemitism is literally a strategy going back centuries to distract people from the real enemy, the aristocracy. This is extremely well documented.
Skin in the Game
Antisemitism forms the theoretical core of White nationalism.

IIRC Howard Zinn said after the tide had turned on Vietnam, people would say "we all know the troops need to leave, but that's to simple, you have to say how they would leave," and his reply was "on planes"
“He doesn’t agree with the phrase ‘abolish ICE’ because he said there are too many interpretations for it…”—we have been here before. “Abolish ICE” is a demand; it is clear. Don’t let electeds turn a policy question into a comms strategy debate so they can dodge stating they oppose the demand.
Stay for this bonkers interview with Rep. Adam Smith about his financial support from Palantir, facilitators of the ICE panopticon.

Everyone speculating the boy was him has never cared for a 5 year old. Insane to think such a traumatized kid would be in shape to be the center of this spectacle. Praying his family is able to help heal these deep wounds as much as possible
Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.
‘He’s not the same’: Father of Liam Conejo Ramos says 5-year-old continues to suffer
Some people thought they say the 5-year-old during the Super Bowl halftime show. But Liam is still in hiding with his family, after he and his father were detained and then released from a Texas deten...

turns out all that Pomo theory I read in the 90s about "the death of the real," the map and the territory etc. was actually useful
While reporting this, I had something happen that's never happened. A comms rep for one of the co's disputed my reporting and said what I was telling them was untrue because it was not in Grok, xAI's chatbot.

I was looking directly at the files. And this person was using AI to challenge the truth.
Epstein had many known connections to Silicon Valley CEOs, but less known was how he made money from those relationships.

We did a deep dive into how he got dealflow in Silicon Valley, giving him shots to invest in Coinbase, Palantir, SpaceX and other companies.

We're calling it "A Day for Gaza." You can find links to all of the incredible pieces here. Please read! www.thenation.com/article/worl...

someone has probably made this point before but: in an attention economy, "cancel" as elites use it means a redistribution of attention away from them and they respond the way the wealthy have always responded to redistribution
complaining about “cancel culture” in 2026 is like those WWII guys on an island still fighting in 1963
Imagine writing these words, in February 2026, regarding the most vicious McCarthyite of the modern era: "Bari Weiss Hates cancel culture"

My take on the Jan 23 action in Minneapolis is that I don’t really care whether it’s a “true” general strike (we could argue about that all day).

What DOES matter is that it’s a bold and necessary escalation, and local labor leaders are publicly encouraging workers to join in anti-ICE resistance

Yet another connection to Palestine, where people are denied the right to grieve
One of the things that genuinely shocked me as I read through surveillance logs for the police is how much of their energy and attention is dedicated to shutting down vigils and other ceremonies of remembrance.
Anyway ICE was filmed desecrating Renee Nicole Good’s memorial & doing violence to people who found that distasteful. Might be too soon to say if this falls into some kind of pattern of behavior if you’re the stupidest motherfucker on earth.
