As someone who is this guy's age I can tell you 100% that if you were into Pixies, Nirvana, 120 Minutes stuff, etc. but didn't like the Beatles you had to have worked hard to contort yourself into that special little box. Your enemy, if you absolutely needed one, was hair metal. GTFO here with this.

Starbucks could end this RIGHT NOW by finalizing fair union contracts and putting an end to union-busting! #NoContractNoCoffee

I am well versed in American racism and I can tell you that Greene, Mace, and Boebert have neither tired of white supremacy nor the patriarchy and are simply bitter that they are no longer young enough, white enough, attractive enough or useful enough to reap the rewards of Bondi, Noem, and Kirk.
I'd be really curious if someone better versed in feminist theory wrote about what's happening on the right. Because between Greene, Mace, and Bobert, we've got this bloc forming of women who seem tired of serving a patriarchy of sex criminals. And their rhetoric is starting to lean that direction.
Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I was called a traitor by a man that I fought for 6 years for. I gave him my loyalty for free. I've never owed him anything. Let me tell you what a traitor is -- a traitor is an American that serves foreign countries."

Lots of you seemed grossed out by the erotic tales of the strange woman and RFK Jr and her describing him sexually but can you imagine how wonderful it would feel to kiss a neck so sticky despite also being so so dry?

The implication that she's going to be living lavishly on the taxpayer dime, while they point out that her family of 3 is living in a *600-sq ft apartment*, makes me want to scream and break things. No car! 600 sq ft! They want the working class to ~live modestly~, but then mock them when they do.

I know a few of you are British tea lovers and having an entire life of finding milk in hot tea disgusting, all of a sudden I’m drinking Lady Grey with oat milk and “sugar” all the time.

Anyone have recommendations? I really dig citrus but haven’t had many floral forward teas - must be black tea

This is one of the main reasons why I am not against people who have been convicted of a federal crime running for office. A good many are wrongly convicted, and a good many more are punished harsher for crimes they committed when they were young or desperate.

Well, we don’t actually know if women in the past wanted to. Nobody asked them, least of all their husbands.

Earlier this week, all 74 of the Northwest’s endangered orcas gathered into what researchers call a superpod — a sort of all-inclusive family reunion.
Rare orca superpod comes to Seattle
They came together Sunday evening not far from Port Townsend. Why, no one can say for sure, except the participants themselves — and no humans speak their language.
