It was a legitimately lovely tattoo! Well done with nice strokes, and the characters for beef are beautiful. Just uhh not the same thing as family at all. Not even the same number of characters.

Thinking a lot this week about the time I saw a person on the train with "beef" tattooed on their neck in Chinese and when I said "cool tattoo" it turned out they thought it said "family". At the time, I thought that was an extremely embarrassing tattoo mishap.

So, fun fact: You shouldn't try to make jello shots by dissolving vitamin gummies in alcohol. Turns out that a bunch of the common vitamins, if carried along via alcohol, can be incredibly damaging to your liver. You didn't know that? Neither did someone else I know. Ask me how they know now. 💀
