Musing on Carney's posit of "rupture", I was prompted to recall Karen Armstrong's "The Great Transformation" and just thought I would search the blue sky for any mentions of it.
Found this potent quote.

Playing "No Stress Chess" with the bartender. It's a card game about as complicated as "Go Fish" that tells you which piece to move and how to move it.

Great for beginners and drinkers

Exciting news for the #geometry community!📐I highly recommend the Summer Geometry Initiative (SGI) at MIT. Having supervised student projects there, I’ve seen the incredible work this program fosters. 💡Apply with your own projects here: sgi.mit.edu

Good summary of Judge Menendez's "Metro Surge" preliminary injunction - reasoning and consequences of violating it.

Not a toothless order. Violations are contempt of court.

I think also sets stage for the next case based on 10th Amendment to end "Metro Surge."

1/ Judge Menendez didn't just issue an injunction in Tincher v. Noem; she effectively placed the Department of Homeland Security into receivership. The "Operation Metro Surge" legal theory has been dismantled.
