Werner Herzog will not stop asking to see the baby. I keep being all “look over there, it’s a guy who is foolishly trying to build a subsistence farm despite lacking the knowledge in a clear metaphor that warns about humanity’s alienation from our environment” but he won’t take the bait.

IDK, man. School started 2 weeks ago for us, and once again students remind me that they’re so curious and interested in the world and anxious to ask big questions. We hear that these questions are no longer useful or relevant, but wherever that’s coming from, it’s not what students believe.

The teachers are on strike because the UCP are more interested in wasting money on lawsuits, cancelled coal mines, and faux-Tylenol than on paying teachers properly and providing them and our children with the tools they need to succeed.
