R.E. the Brooklyn Beckham drama.

I don't know the Beckhams, or what goes on behind the scenes. But I can share this.

My current position (open to persuasion) is that a ban is excessively restrictive and doesn't deal with the real issues that also affect over-16s. Products should be safe for everyone, with particular guardrails for groups of users if there are special circumstances.
I oppose a U-16 ban but I think a consultation is legitimate and far preferable to the kneejerk demands of Haidt-brained hysterics who want to copy a law Australia introduced literally last month
Downing St is poised to launch a consultation into social media restrictions on teenagers, here’s our scoop from Saturday’s FT:

I find it hard to believe that David Beckham, who gurned his way through video clips of him sitting at a camp fire or wandering through a spice market in exchange for as much blood money he didn't need as Qatar could stuff into his private jet, is obsessed with marketing and branding himself.

All the abuse by cis men in the world and somehow people have become obsessed with dehumanising the trans community instead - have seen anti trans activists celebrate Trump too, a convicted sexual abuser and Epstein island loyalty card holder
The ferocity with which the vile phrase “a biological male who identifies as a woman” is being embedded across multiple media in Britain is horrifying. It shows how quickly support for eliminationist attacks against trans and gender diverse people is being solidified

you know this guy is a FOR REAL photographer because he's telling the story of his brutal, unconditional arrest by federal goons and can't help but slip in a gear review
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

The lady in this photo is autistic and ICE agents dragged her out of her car as she tried to go to the doctor.
This isn't satire. This is a real headline published in the UK.

Nice one, Wes

Going to get Jordan Peterson to address officials overseeing dietary guidelines next? Have Jeremy Clarkson set the environmental agenda?

Might as well do at this point. They've all sold loads of books too, that's all the qualifications you need, right?

A few months ago, ICE hired me

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable

And yet, there it was, in plain English. "Welcome to ICE!"

What happens when you do minimal screening before hiring agents, arming them, and sending them into the streets? We're all finding out.

The conservative rhetoric around protecting women makes more sense once you understand that victims exist purely as a hypothetical for them. Once a victim actually claims the label, they become a threat. This is also why they prefer dead women to living victims.

Labour councillor thinks that the murder of a woman - with plans that political parties in the UK are specifically looking to emulate - shouldn't be political.

Labour have no intention in every challenging the far right - which is why they'll be next to follow unless we stand up to them.
How low can Polanski go? Weaponising the killing of the mother of a 6 year old girl, that’s how low.

Leadership clearly isn’t a Green Party strong point.
Trump started it.

Reform and Tories are at it too.

And Labour already heading in that direction.

All cruel, potentially deadly and does nothing to fix the cost of living crisis.
