Let a single person feed their family with food stamps when they don't "deserve" the benefit and Republicans will be filled with such rage that they'll take away those benefits from millions of others.
Meanwhile the administration is doing this:

Wow — Casada wasn’t the only Tennessee Republican getting a Trump pardon. @RepHarshbarger got him to pardon her health care fraud husband too.
Kelsey, Casada, Harshbarger… Tennessee Republicans working those pardons hard.
The law no longer applies to them in the Trump era.

Driving up to Snoqualmie Pass in the snow is a privilege. Don't have snow tires? Or snow chains? Or a 4WD? Or a car at all? Then you're SOL. A bus levels the playing field and opens the snow to everyone. Let's get it done, Metro.

Hi, Jean. My friend is a Nigerian prince who needs to urgently retrieve $1,000,000 from an abandoned trust from his father.
If you can wire $5,000 today, you will be entitled to 35% of the trust. Please reply at your earliest convenience.

Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

The thing with batteries vs no batteries is that if your system is big enough, then you're generating excess power during the day, which you're selling to the utility (typically at prime retail rate) and using grid power at night and buying energy for a time slot that's less than what you sold for.

Is it worth going into debt to get solar? I most cases, I think yes. A friend of mine recently asked me for advice because I have solar and he is debt free after 15+ yrs of paying everything off except his home. He didn't want to take on debt. I convinced him to do it, and I'll explain why - 🧵

Can't find the post right now, but one of the biggest factors in genocides across the world is score-settling among neighbors.
Rest assured that, if we ever see someone from ICE leaking video to the media, it will be only to harm perceived rivals from within the ranks.

They already had this, when they passed axing ACA credits. There's no ambiguity that Republicans did that and you can attack them for it. The marginal advantage of having another vote for messaging purposes is, at best, extremely thin, and even negative if it lets some Rs cast a meaningless yes vote
Kaine on why he thinks just getting a vote on healthcare is a win: "We're the minority party, but everybody will get to see who is standing for them when it comes to lowering their healthcare costs"

I’m watching Hakeem Jeffries fight for his life to defend the Senate Democrats. Naturally their inability to fight is due to the Republicans 🙄

As militaries develop and deploy AI systems, they create the possibility of machines asserting power over life and death, without regard for the laws of war and the vital doubt and restraint they require. But what if that "doubt protocol" could be coded in internationalpolicy.org/publications...
Can Complimentary Learning Methods Teach AI the Laws of War? - CIP
Training AI models on edge cases of war offers the possibility of hard-coding compliance with laws or war, or at least necessary doubts.
