all of this, but also people go to tertiary education that should just go to a trade or whatnot. And a lot of things that should be trades suddenly became degrees. We need to unfuck tertiary education, big time.
The combination of fascism covid more fascism genocide capitulation to fascism and the clear goal of AI tech bros to eradicate the workforce and make all jobs and future goals irrelevant as we all slide into poverty while eleven rich people become gods is really doing a number on us.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

in the 90s we had to do practical Rules of Engagement/Laws of Armed Conflict training every month, the scenarios were passed down from above to make sure every person knew to not do war crimes, and how to make sure they weren't even accidentally doing war crimes. Shit really went off the rails.
