Nothing to see here, just a right wing hyper-nationalist government going to their party’s youth event sponsored by a group with a martyred leader they’ve pledged to avenge, recruiting people to join their masked police force devoted to removing auslanders from ze homeland.

This is giving unmistakable "argument in the car on the way home" vibes and Sam is going to lose so, so badly.

A Cliffs Notes for the Jake Paul situation since I'm seeing people confused.

Jake Paul and his brother were 'prank streamers'. Yes exactly. They got famous for doing that and got rich. Jakes fame got to his head and somewhere along the way he started believing he could fight pro boxers.

If you put every American with pre-1776 ancestors in North America in one room, it would look a lot different than these people imagine it would.
If immigrating from England makes you a "heritage American" then I guess I'm one too.

Since Coca-Cola is now the home of slop Christmas and dead-eyed Santa, Pepsi should claim handmade Krampus. Throw a gorilla suit and some horns on some guy, give him a sack of Pepsis.

Yes, but it’s not a “nuclear option.” It’s the most basic, obvious, conventional option available if you want to actually do something effective. The fact that they’re not immediately promising it en masse tells us something, and that something is not good.
WATCH-- Former AG Eric Holder says Congress should consider impeachment for the DOJ officials responsible for holding back the Epstein files: “That's a nuclear option that Congress has.”

There's really interesting social science on how white people significantly overestimate the number of people of color in a room or in a picture. A room with, like, 20% POC will be perceived as majority POC.
White men are 30% of the US and if they look around the room and see it’s less than 90% white men they think it’s affirmative action.
85% of CEOs are white men.

All but one US President has been a white man.

65% of all elected offices are held by white men.

Roughly 30% of the population is white men.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS TOPIC EVEN???

the thing most people struggle with is understanding that doj wasn’t hesitant to go hard at trump because they were unsure of the outcome, they were hesitant because they were VERY sure of the outcome (conviction) and it scared the shit out of them.
I also developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt of this, using the investigative methods of "reading the words that the president regularly spoke and wrote in public forums."
BREAKING on MS NOW:

Jack Smith, in his opening statement to House Judiciary, says:

"Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power."

My favorite tyrant joke: a man comes every day and peers at the front page of the newspaper without buying it.

The newspaper vendor says, "what are you looking for?"
"An obituary."
"Obituaries aren't on the front page."
"This one will be."

My personal favorite:

Stalin and his driver were on their way to Moscow in a car when all of a sudden they hit a pig near a farmhouse, killing it instantly.

Stalin told his driver to go up to the farmhouse and explain to the owners what had happened. (1/x)

Something I want to see in these kinds of interviews is asking these people where they get their information from, what news and social environments led them to believe this shit, and then ask them if they have any plans to rethink their media diets and the people who told them to trust the man.
I keep seeing more articles about how they regret it now that the damage is done & I truly believe that if you have any genuine interest in salvaging what’s left of this country then whether you want to or not, you can never forgive these people. You can never let them live what they did down.
