This.

Measles is incredibly infectious. If 1 kid in a kindergarten is infected, by the end of the day pretty much every un- or under-vaccinated classmate will be too.

Measles can be deadly & some complications can kill years later, but just an ordinary case is miserable. Why let your kid suffer?

So I looked into this a bit more and I’m 99.9% sure this is what caused my beef and dairy allergies in 1998. Earliest reported cases were 2002. Symptoms matches exactly (delayed reactions, hives, gastrointestinal issues, etc).
As the article notes, the ticks that cause alpha-gal are spreading to new areas thanks to climate change
A 47-year-old airline pilot from New Jersey is the first person known to have died from alpha-gal syndrome, a red meat allergy caused by a tick bite.

If the rest don’t oust Schumer immediately, then the entire U.S. Senate sold us out. They think we’re stupid. It’s insulting.
These 8 Senators sold us out to Trump:
Hassan
King
Cortez-Masto
Shaheen
Kaine
Fetterman
Durbin
Rosen

Understand This Fact: Chuck Schumer is behind this. None of these 8 are up for reelection in 2026. Schumer asked them vote yes—they agreed. He's such a coward that he folded and won't even own it.

Huh well it turns out I heard from a few federal workers about this and well

"We civil servants organized to help our colleagues face the hardship of the shutdown, we put up with the pain and our only request was to not be betrayed like this. Trade our pain, make it count."

"World's first potential trillionaire has killed 600,000 people, including 400,000 children" is the only headline that anyone should ever read about Elon Musk
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

As if the SCOTUS decision wasn't bad enough, the 6th circuit said "hold my beer" and explicitly created a constitutional right to bully trans kids who are already at tremendous risk of self harm and suicide.

These judges want dead trans kids.
BREAKING: The Sixth Circuit, in a 10-7 en banc decision, holds that an Ohio school district's anti-bullying policy that requires students to use children's preferred pronouns is likely unconstitutional on these facts.

Judge Murphy, a Trump appointee, writes the court's decision.

They might want to check their inboxes. Our members have some opinions
In keeping with this theme, I reached out to KC Current to see if they would be commenting on the issues below. They will not be issuing a separate statement outside of the one already issued by the league earlier today.
I have reached out to the Washington Spirit comms for comment on the recent comments from Elizabeth Eddy and Jennifer Sey.

Don’t know that i will hear back today but will keep you all posted if and when i do get a comment from them.

I have so much respect for the @nwslplayers.bsky.social but to me this misses the point. The issue isn't that the attacks on specific NWSL players are factually incorrect (they are); it's that the hysteria and bigotry around trans, intersex, and gender nonconforming athletes hurts all women
Inbox: NWSLPA Releases statement condemning attacks on players

"We stand firmly with all our members - including, and especially, the African women who have been targeted by divisive and demeaning rhetoric”

Is this ref looking as bad on the Home Screen and replays as she is here on the field? Not calling fouls or cards out when Current players are hit, getting in the way of the ball, etc.
