This is the worst thing happening in baseball. It is happening all the time and nearly every team is doing it. And a lot of prospect media is complicit.

By this analysis (which is correct) I have always won (because I too am always correct).
online arguments aren’t about convincing the other party. they’re about establishing a psychosexual dominance over them that will burden them every time they see your posts from that point forward.
The secret to engaging in social media debate is knowing you will never win anyone over. The best you can hope for is to have people who already agree with tell you you're awesome. You might great a dopamine thrill from the righteousness of your anger! Fine benefits, all. But you will never win.

Checking out the @fangraphs.com 2026 standings projections. The thing that really stands out to me is the Mariners have the 3rd highest World Series odds in baseball but they picked a season to do that when the Dodgers have the best odds at 27%!!!

For M’s fans this is good news/bad news imo. There are a lot of Seattle farmhands in this list, which is great. There’s not “sure fire Top 5 Julio-type prospect” here, which is a shame, especially since Seattle is so reticent to trade its top prospects.

In danger of being a broken record a bit but really, truly, take comfort and strength in knowing this *is* most of us. It’s true it should be all of us and it sucks it’s not. But most everyone hates this stuff.
Yesterday morning kids were sent running from their bus stop in panic because ICE showed up. This guy at today’s ICE Out of Lindenwold protest is a must watch 😭. @maddow.bsky.social

A huge Norm Nation update! Yesterday, so many reached out to help a family in hiding escape eviction. Today, I paid $3,700 for 3 months’ rent (2 months of back rent since they can’t leave the house and also March’s rent, because it’s already mid-February). Thank you so much! You are saving lives.

Alex Vesia read from a prepared statement when speaking to reporters this morning, thanking those who offered support after he and his wife, Kayla, lost their daughter during last year's World Series.

After looking at the projections, I asked myself how much better the Mariners are on paper to begin 2026 than they were to begin 2025, and then I talked for way too long about it on YouTube. youtu.be/ARoeBu2jZ9Q

Trophies don't care about narratives — the Seahawks beat down a damn good football team on Sunday to earn their second.

LRT: I fall into despair and anxiety easily. The way information channels work are designed to make us do so. It's important to remember how many people are willing to help out, and care about those in need. It's most of us, honestly.

Wow! We do it! Oh my gosh, I am overwhelmed. You all were so kind and generous. We raised the $3k goal super quickly. I know there’s a ton of need out there and this family specifically will probably need more. I’ll reach out to everyone who DM’ed that I couldn’t get back to in time. I love you all!
I am working to get them connected with existing support networks, like at their kids schools, but the main thing we can offer them right now is time and a continued roof over their head. I will delete this post once we hit $3k, with anything not going to back rent toward future needs.
