Americans are notorious for not having passports. It'll backfire though. Rural red states are the least likely to have passports due to lack of education and poverty. Full on caste system.

If the government is going to watch what people post on all social media to find targets for deportation, citizens MUST make it difficult to do. Flood timelines with information that makes the targeted harder to find. Especially if you are caucasian.

If you are anything like me, you don't want your data sold to third parties. You probably run ad blockers. Maybe a VPN. Some governments are trying to help by requiring the site to declare what cookies are used and providing the user to opt out. But the current method of displaying this information tends to have some serious accessibility issues.
