Zohran Mamdani standing beside the President of the United States just said that the US is funding Israel's genocide and yet can't take care of its own unhoused children on live television.

I never thought I'd see something like that in my lifetime

This is the kind of thing that even conservatives are going to find offensive. This only appeals to Groypers and literal Neo-Nazis
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

People like this should actually be exiled from society. We’ll never get past this moment if we try to bring along people who think their personal comfort is more important than the lives of others
I hate this sort of meme.

“The only difference between the parties is whether the power to destroy human civilization rests in the hands of leaders who think gays, women, and black people should have their rights acknowledged.”

Even if true, how is Rainbow B-52 not infinitely preferable?

This is beyond horrific.

ICE is responsible for the well-being of people in immigration detention and it is failing that responsibility miserably. Mr. Ge’s loved ones and the American people need answers immediately. www.newsweek.com/ice-detainee...

If you say "Trump is a threat to democracy" and vote like this, you simply don't believe what you say.

The idea that swing state Dems would "need" to vote for this is also laughable. No one in your district is kept up at night by the idea that a crooked cop in DC won't get hired back.

The failure is yours - we need new leadership

As Israel kills thousands of Palestinian civilians, the Biden admin continued to support them because the target was “Hamas”

Everything the Trump admin is doing now has roots in the last admin—whether it’s ICE, free speech, empowering tech oligarchs, Islamophobia, etc

I know this movie kind of came out with a thud, but as a longtime fan of the comics, it’s actually a really compelling adaptation. Would love to see them wrap up the story.
James Cameron says he and Robert Rodriguez have “sworn a blood oath” to make ‘ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL 2’

“We’re thinking of an architecture that bridges to a third film, but we’ll be satisfied if we can make one more. And we’re making progress on that.”

@petebuttigieg.bsky.social would have been a Republican in any era before Trump—he’s lucky MAGA is so far right that he can claim to be progressive, but he’s just a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I’ll never forget his “Medicare for all…for those who want it” shit when he was campaigning. A total two-face

Today marks the 150th anniversary of the 1st anti-drug law in the US. San Francisco banned opium dens in 1875 on the racist accusation that Chinese men were luring white women and “ruining them.” Time & again, new drug laws were passed to protect sexual purity of white women from people of color.

This is could well be a historic midterm for Democrats.

Don’t waste it on centrists who won’t come through when it matters. Run vocal progressives.

You won’t end Trumpism without anti-corruption crusaders and warriors for social and economic justice who believe in taxes & big, universal programs.
Those claiming Dems should retreat on racial justice aren't hard-headed realists, they're pushing against the electoral tide rather than leaning into it. The story of Gen Z isn't about racist backlash or red-pilled young men. It's the most racially progressive generation in American history. 🧵
