I’m currently rehearsing a piece of post-minimalist chamber music that is so fiendishly difficult to put together that every professional performance or recording I’ve found has pretty substantial ensemble errors if you know the piece well (including by a multi-Grammy winning group).

and you know what? these students should also be judged, and judged harshly for this. running to the admins and state legislators and the press because you got a fairly earned failing grade on an assignment is and should be seen as a mark of extremely poor character. it makes you a very bad person.
the primary thing that TPUSA provides to young conservatives is a blueprint for weaponizing the abject cowardice of university administrators against individual teachers and instructors, and university admins should take a long look in the mirror and think about what that says about them

i think it's useful to look at areas where the *tech* has gotten much better while tech *interactions* have gotten way worse. streaming has gotten worse, google search has gotten worse, digital cameras are leaps better. apple's silicone is so good it's threatening their user upgrade cycle
it’s so weird to look around and realize like, tech and media are materially worse than a decade ago

So I did suck it up and finish the game (basic ending, 77% complete). Unfortunately I did end up having fun but only in the last couple of hours once I had unlocked all the movement abilities and upgraded the nail 3/4 of the way by looking up guides online. Was it worth the annoyance? 🤷♂️
No offense to people who love it, but I enjoy a lot of Metroidvanias and I cannot understand the appeal of Hollow Knight. I bounced off it earlier this year after 10+ hours, but I gave it another shot tonight and it’s just as aggravating as when I quit before.
