I am convinced America crossed an event horizon thirteen years ago, when even the deaths of elementary school aged children at the hands of a monster weren't enough for their government to say "enough is enough". Hard not to think that Americans would rather have their guns over their children.

What is something that brought you Joy today?

I have been slowly building a Tea Garden. Today I put a few irises that had been living in pots in the ground to help decorate that area, raked it smooth and covered it with straw for the winter. It looks pretty and I can picture the new spring garden.

The weather is all back to normal temps now.

It was -20 below zero this morning when I woke up. By noon it was 10 above. So I went for a walk to the
Grocery store and just enjoyed the day.
