Here’s where I post my favorite New Yorker piece about Mellon - he was one of the richest men in the world and hated taxes so much that he founded a think tank to push the myth of “trickle-down economics” on us. www.newyorker.com/magazine/201...

A reminder all: GO TO JURY DUTY WHEN YOU ARE SUMMONED

Yes it is disruptive of schedules but these days, juries need you
Wow. Sidney Reid, the DC woman just found not guilty of assaulting an FBI agent, issues a withering and gutsy statement on Trump through her attorneys.

"I feel sorry for the prosecutors really, who must be burdened by Trump's irrational and unfounded hatred for his fellow man."

It's a must-read:

Some PAC needs to throw ada all over TV and the internet, showing:

1. Dated video of Trump saying his shitty ballroom won’t damage the White House
2. Dated video showing the White House facade being torn down
3. Simple text: “Trump is destroying our heritage”

New developments in my 3 year Epstein investigation, this time regarding JP Morgan Chase and its CEO, Jamie Dimon. This is a long thread, but worth sticking around for.

Many people are outraged that Trump is demolishing part of the White House. But of course Trump can't do it without help. It's ACECO LLC of Silver Spring MD ("full-service demolition") that is tearing down the People's House. You can call them and let them know how you feel. 1/

Part of the reason this struck me is that I've had my head in the 1960s DOJ for a while.

The DOJ press secretary back then was a Pulitzer Prize winner who'd been reporting for twenty years (except when he was winning medals in WWII).

Today, it's the dumbest meanest airhead in middle school.
Everyone's focused on how idiotic Lindsey Halligan is, but don't sleep on the official response from Department of Justice spokeswoman Natalie Baldassarre.

It's just Mean Girls all the way down, if they'd written that script while huffing paint fumes.

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

Good to get official confirmation — basically everything happening in Chicago right now is being coordinated by Gregory Bovino, the Border Patrol Chief who started doing indiscriminate raids even before Biden left office, because he knew he could get away with it.
Ellis asking about the chain of command for Operation Midway Blitz.

Harvick says Border Patrol Chief Greg Bovino has been designated "tactical commander" of DHS assets in Chicago.
Apparently they’re similar to French apples, so if you’re making a French recipe in the U.S., they’re the best substitute.

“We found over 35 cases in which the judges have specifically said what the government is providing…false information. It might be intentionally false information, including false sworn declarations time and again," says Ryan Goodman, law professor at New York University.
When I was 8, we were slow-rolling on a 4-lane road, and the dick next to us waved through a kid on a bicycle in the middle of the street, who promptly got hit by our car. She suffered a broken wrist, but their family sued us for hundreds of thousands of dollars and made our lives hell for 5 years.

Shouting match. Cursing.

And this ⤵️

Trump "adopted many of Putin’s talking points verbatim, even when they contradicted his own statements about Russia’s weaknesses..

"Trump told Zelenskyy that Putin had told him the conflict was a 'special operation, not even a war.'”

Anytime you ask “why did the Times cover it this way?” or whatever corporate media it is, remember that influential moderates are the tool of the wealth class and are there to normalize whatever the wealthy want and create doubt regarding reform and change.
Because the republicans control the house.
I don’t actually believe she went to law school.
