When Democrats folded in the last government shutdown—rescuing the GOP majority from itself and helping them pass a budget, giving validation to the Trump administration’s lawbreaking—the savvy politics knowers explained that folding was clearly worth it because it got the Epstein Files released.
No federal judge has the power or authority to make DOJ comply with the mandatory provisions of the Epstein Act, says Pam Bondi. It's unenforceable and meaningless. Essentially, DOJ is a lawless if not criminal enterprise, not a law enforcement agency, at this point.

This is why almost all Democratic leadership needs to go. It's not impossible to investigate. It's just impossible to do so without risking confrontation with the Federal Government. It is that same fear of confrontation that let Trump and Republicans get away with so many crimes.

This is why governors *NEED* to have their police, backed by the national guard, *immediately* take into custody all ICE personnel involved when a murder or attempted murder occurs.
To do otherwise at this point is willful negligence.

The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says they've been informed by the FBI that US DOJ has said FBI will solely lead the investigation into Renee Nicole Good's killing by a federal officer. State investigators no longer have access to "case materials, scene evidence/investigative interviews"
