I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Given the earnings Tesla just reported, it makes sense to shift money they don’t have out of making cars they can’t sell and into a speculative AI venture focused on hallucinatory non-consensual nude image generation.

I'm dead against the proposed new housing development near us but the group formed in opposition to it is so full of flag-shaggers, illiterates, reactionaries and general numpties that I'm actually coming around to the idea that some new neighbours might be a good thing.

I was about 4 or 5. My mum was acting weird, she looked in the mirror in the hall and spoke out loud saying that she looked pale. Then, she went for a nap. I decided to be a good girl and make her look pretty. I painted pink nail varnish circles on her cheeks as she slept.

Tesla bet big on Elon Musk. His politics continue to haunt it.

Palantir’s stated mission is to defend America. Peter Thiel is a radical libertarian who does not believe ‘freedom & democracy are compatible’.

Yet, the UK is overwhelmingly dependent on Palantir’s services. As a national security threat, this is off the charts.

It’s also the ‘cloud support’ for our nuclear weapons system 🤯

The thing that frightened me the most, as a British person looking in, is that it looked to me, in both cases, that your Border Patrol guys are used to doing that, and have done it many times before. It was casual. I don't know that a bit of process fixes the issue.

Just like democracies are being put to the test around the world (and succumbing sooner than we hoped), our ideals of research integrity and scientific rigor are being tested by ever-invasive AI tools. I am not hopeful science will survive this unscathed. We'll need to rethink a lot of what we do.
OpenAI just released Prism, a LaTeX editor with embedded ChatGPT for free.

Clogging the scientific publishing pipeline has never been easier.
It took me 54 seconds to write up an experiment I did not actually conduct.
