There are sadly still people who think dogs are just accessories and not living things and she is one of them. These people are not right in the head.
This is some genuinely psycho shit...

Please tell me if there’s a difference between an early burrito delivery app and the claims AI promoters make that never, ever pan out. Jesus H.
I just think it’s very clearly getting much better quite quickly. But yes the timelines are probably going to be longer. Here’s a useful example. Kozmo dot com was a quintessential tech bubble company in early sights that didn’t pan out. Promised 1 hr delivery of whatever you needed.

Thirty years later Walter Matthau’s character would have been working at the Pentagon for Don Rumsfeld.

He also slaps a woman, so that checks out too.
I was thinking about Sidney Lumet's "Fail Safe" (1964) today. Excellent film

Correct. I swear analytics get used during broadcasts to make people yell. If it’s a go they show that. If it’s a no they just cut to the punt and the booth talks crap about analytics and rides the “complimentary football” hobby horse, when they don’t really know what that is.
NGS didn’t have a single go for it recommendation on any of the Seahawks’ field goals. Models aren’t always saying go for it!
Most people who were proponents of Go-for-it on 4th less than 5 are strangely quiet about McDonald kicking 5 FGs.

Rotisserie chickens are a very inexpensive way to make two meals for a family. Chicken, then what you make out of whatever is left. Then stock to use for another meal. These people are idiots attempting to bring back the avocado toast wars.

The plot of Nobody 2 is basically a Rockford episode where he tries to go fishing in the country and the local sheriff is a corrupt asshole he has to fight and escape. I love it.

Congressional REPUBLICANS are on another planet. Let’s just be very clear about who is running the place and why things are like this.
It's like Congress is on another planet.

80,000 people have been thrown in concentration camps in the United States, how is any human being still capable of supporting this criminal regime
Breaking MS NOW:

In a major defeat for Mike Johnson, 3 House Republicans bucked their leaders to block legislation that would have restricted Congress' ability to strike down Trump’s tariffs.

The final tally was 214-217, with 3 Republicans joining Democrats in opposition.

Republicans in disarray.
This was Mike Johnson's third failed rule vote of the 119th Congress, bringing him closer to tying the modern era record for rule failure in the House.

Which is currently held by... Mike Johnson, from the 118th Congress
RULE VOTE FAILS, 217-214.

Three Republicans- Thomas Massie, Kevin Kiley, and Don Bacon - buck the party to allow floor consideration of measures to end Trump's tariffs.

The first such measure, likely on Canada tariffs, could come up as soon as tomorrow

The Trump coalition is basically a collection of crazy people who are crazy in different ways and it is going to be fun to watch them gore each other.

Republicans have been holding this vote open for 40 minutes or so, but the holdouts- Massie, Kiley, Bacon, reportedly left the Capitol. The absent Republican is Greg Murphy (R-NC), who has missed a lot of time since a mid December surgery.

Not clear why Johnson is still holding this vote open

Before it was, ‘I haven’t hear the [racist, sexist, stupid] thing Trump said,’ which was bullshit. Now it’s ‘I didn’t know Trump tried to have six of my colleagues indicted,’ which is extra special bullshit. He’s a lying little twerp and he doesn’t give it a second thought.
Mike Johnson just claimed (for at least the second time today!) to be ignorant of major news developments that reflect poorly on Trump.

DRINK!

Ed is lowkey one of the most below replacement value senators who inexplicably manages to convince internet leftists every 6 years he's some bomb throwing socialist
Ed's 2020 primary remains so funny to me, because every 18-22 year old kid on-line thought Markey winning was the single most important thing

and as a New England Democrat I know he's one of the most seat warming people in the Senate but sudden he was the most important Senator ever

We updated the story after Mr. Heraskevych said he will wear the helmet in training Wednesday and competition Thursday and Friday, the directive be damned.

“I see the faces on this helmet, and I will not betray them.”

(👋 from the Winter Olympics in Cortina, Italy!)
The Ukrainian athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych cannot wear a helmet featuring images of his countrymen who were killed in the war with Russia, Olympic officials said. They said he defied a ban on political speech and allowed a black armband instead. nyti.ms/3OaGanu

If you’re not sure how to understand Trump’s actions they only fall into three categories:

- he took a bribe
- he’s in the Epstein files
- he’s a gutter racist.

This should be clear to more people by now.
