Just watched the halftime show. All it made me want to do is go to Puerto Rico and drink something cold, with coconut and rum.
While I can't say he's my favorite singer, the music was infectious and the dancers were beautiful. Fantastic production design as well.
Loved the wedding.

All those big influencers who tell folks not to bother voting are either so gullible they fell for bot propaganda, or they are paid to spew bot propaganda.
Voting alone will not stop this. But without massive voter turnout, it will be MUCH harder to stop this. We vote, then we defend the results.

When people claimed that AI is the new electricity, I thought of all of the quack uses for electricity in the early years, especially "cures." Same with radioactivity. Early users of electricity also burned a lot of buildings down until we learned where and when and how to make it useful AND safe.
I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Armies wear uniforms for a reason. And not just because it makes the laundry easier.
I am reminded of certain lilac blossoms on a certain Glorious 25th of May. How do you tell your comrades from your potential murderers? A carrot, a leek, a lilac sprig, a red knitted hat, a frog costume.

I keep hearing how pointless the knit hats are but even aside from the money those have raised, visual symbols of how many of us there are are good. It's solidarity building and keeps the goons from telling themsrlves everyone secretly agrees with them. Nobody's KNITTING a statement they dislike.
