Wyle Cop, #Shrewsbury.
Locally known as "the Cop".
This beautiful historic street full of independent shops is the main excuse people give for not cycling anywhere in our town at all - "how are we going to cycle up the Cop?"

Forget what you think you know, #E-bikes are the future.

Freshly baked, freshly delivered. 🥖
The #ShortHaul cargo bike makes deliveries easy. With a strong 140 kg (308 lb) carrying capacity, it’s perfect for hauling plenty of fresh goods while navigating the city.

A glimpse of the Hey! Earthlings! Cabinet, now in Shrewsbury Library till 1 November. A project that's been all about welcomes, multiculturalism, local heritage and art.

The irony being that it is more sloped because it is the place to cross the road. So you can’t even cross over 👨‍🦽

Exactly. I would put them in that direction.

I totally understand why you would put the wooden packers in that direction. But doesn’t it make a mockery of the minimum spacing between the poles? 👨‍🦼⛔️

Thanks to London’s bold action, almost 10 million people are now breathing cleaner air.

That means fewer children will grow up with stunted lungs and fewer people will have to suffer from asthma, dementia and heart disease.

I shifted it (thankfully able) but still not enough space for a wheelchair to pass. It’s a narrow pavement with a narrow carriageway. It’s same offence obstruction of the highway on the pavement or in the carriageway, so maybe I should just move it into the carriageway 🤷

If the bike is from 2015 or before I think it can still have a throttle for assistance, as long as the assisted speed is 15.5mph max. Is this still correct? Or has the law changed recently?

Some delivery companies seem to have their whole business model reliant on illegally driving on pavements. No one seems to care.

Give people a space of a supermarket car park to use as a junction and they will do doughnuts in their cars.

Just thinking of a new 🚶🚲 shared path I walked along today.

There are a lot of problems to sort out I agree.
But keep big companies like Stihl promoting something new and people start to take notice.

I’m seeing a different side to this where this replaces what is currently a polluting truck in my local park. This wouldn’t fit on bike lanes we have, so would be on the road in our small town not polluting my child’s lungs.

It would be nice if you could leave the child seat attached, so little one has somewhere safe to be whilst you crawl through the gap in a big coat to lock up the bike at the front.
Hoping to make everyday cycling easy, not a chore/challenge.
