This beautiful historic street full of independent shops is the main excuse people give for not cycling anywhere in our town at all - "how are we going to cycle up the Cop?"

We are concerned about recent talk about cuts to the Cycle to Work Scheme. Though the scheme has some limits, where other forms of transport present barriers to Disabled people, cycling can for some be a method of independent travel that is supported through the Cycle To Work Scheme.

Survey asked me if I felt comfortable, safe, connected to community, nature etc whilst standing by the Abbey. Then a truck and car pulled up right next to me, both left their engines running whilst they sat there scrolling.
