as fascist paegentry, the DC parade left a lot to be desired. There wasn't very much martial (marshall?) music. The soldiers -most in fatigues, not dress uniforms- didn't goose-step or high-step. More like they were strolling. they weren't in sync 1/2

But we should watch for how it affects the coalition between the libertarian big tech wing (Musk/Peter Thiel et al) and the MAGA wing (Steve Bannon). Recall in December the big blowup over H1Bs; this will surface that tension even more, especially 1/2
