I feel like no one has a wrong opinion about Osgood Perkin’s work, but I do think that making consistently divisive films is sort of a skill in and of itself. The love it/hate it meter is being pushed to the extreme

Bodily autonomy is the ultimate principle here and if we’re gonna make it stick we need to do away with the deep-seated notion that certain kinds of bodies are bad and undesirable to the point of being other people’s personal business and indeed a social problem
Fatphobia goes hand in hand with transphobia and is rampant even in otherwise progressive spaces because it makes people feel a sense of control to police their own and other people's bodies. It is social poison and we will never eliminate transphobia without eliminating anti-fatness.

Not fair to brand all landlords as 'parasites'. I'm a fair landlord (keep my rents low and my properties in good condition) in an area that is short on affordable properties. I've no quarrel with bad landlords being outed but this type of generalisation is unfair.
