The mass detentions of immigrants the 5th Circuit just approved was ofc based on a Clinton-era statute. Dems are saying "It's not what we meant," but that doesn't appear to be stopping anybody, and the abusive interpretations were ID'd at the time but poo-pooed as leftie silliness.
