Every year around this time, I ask folks to consider doing something in support of Native people. This year, please join me in supporting the Native Organizers Alliance as they build grassroots power, defend Native voting rights, and equip our people for collective struggle through skill-building.

Society is a construct. You can just ask someone to do a ska cover of Faith of the Heart and they'll say "$300 please" and you give it to them and then you have it.

Everyone, give

your money. They deserve it.

Blaming the current backlash against fat people on Ozempic is kinda like blaming gen-z unemployment on AI. Like is it a factor? Maybe kinda?? But it just cannot be the whole thing.

Look at the Trumpers, particularly the Nazis amongst them. They correctly understand they are besieged by fancy-gendered commie traitors who think racism is bad and common decency is good. They are very well aware they’ve got this window to destroy as much as they can, and then they are finished.

kinda goes with what i always say about self reviews. YOU GET A VOICE TOO AND YOU CAN USE IT TO SAY YOU ARE AWESOME. GIVE YOURSELF FIVE STARS. you worked hard and you deserve it. just dont think artists should feel bad about thinking theyre amazing because they are. were all literally one of a kind

it is just interesting to me that we seem to want our artists to have this sort of ‘aw shucks, dont look at me but ACTUALLY you can look at me but ill pretend i dont want that.' OF COURSE THIS IS FINE TOO, there is no wrong way as far as im concerned, but it is funny we shun the opposite.

and 3) please be wary of anything that seems to invite the response "ah, of course [American government institution] is secretly run by Israel!"
that Twitter screenshot allegedly revealing the DHS account is operated from Tel Aviv is probably fake because 1) it originated from an anime shitposter on Twitter, 2) the formatting does not align with other accounts subject to the feature [it revealed only countries, not specific cities]

It’s widely known (and, I think, pretty uncontroversial) that learning requires effort — specifically, if you don’t have to work at getting the knowledge, it won’t stick.

Even if an LLM could be trusted to give you correct information 100% of the time, it would be an inferior method of learning it.
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.
