I’d feel better about learning Spanish if my brain could accept that “I gave it to you” is structured as “To you it I gave.”

Except, of course, when it isn’t, and “usted” or “ustedes” is randomly rammed in there and never the one I suspect.

I think it’s a bit of the Ken Dodd experience. She was such a name that the directors didn’t want to tell her what to do.

I also think putting her first two eps back to back was a mistake. Make them Eps 3 and 6. Give us a chance to miss her and be surprised when she turns up again.
