New followers: hello! I’m a poet + professor + currently an MFA program director. I walk a lot. I live in WI near water. I post opportunities for writers, pics of my cats, poems, stray thoughts, political stuff + other stuff. I have two kids who play 7 instruments between them including tuba. 🎶

He was smart, kind, and committed to exploring important issues that ranged from political to spiritual to intellectual, and everything in between. He was a wonderful storyteller, a journalist with integrity, and a mensch who brought interesting people together and into his orbit. RIP Bill. 3/3

It’s not an exaggeration to say that my experience on the set of Genesis, and editing the transcripts for the series, changed my life—it’s why I went on to do a graduate degree in religious studies, and studied religious texts for 15+ years. Bill Moyers was a gem. 2/3
