Saying Trump is “transactional” is just a gentle way of saying he’s corrupt. Every power he has been trusted with, he treats as a way to extract favors and benefits from anyone he sees as situationally vulnerable.

Interesting tidbit is here is that if WB accepts the hostile bid, WB owes Netflix $2.8 billion for breaking the deal, so the realized cost of the Paramount bid would be about $111 billion
Breaking News: Paramount made an offer worth $108 billion for Warner Bros. Discovery days after the company agreed to a deal with Netflix.

What do these 3 people have in common?

They have all been found to have been illegally appointed by the Trump Administration to positions leading U.S. Attorney’s Offices around the country.

We need real public servants in these jobs, lawful public servants, who are committed to the rule of law.

Justice Barrett is asking SG Sauer, do we really have to decide today which clause of the Constitution is the basis for our unitary executive theory? Can't we just continue "not being very specific about it," as we've been doing?

Question captures something v. important about originalism and text.

I am not live posting the whole argument here because I want to listen closely to Trump v. Slaughter. But the solicitor general for Trump just said the point here in killing the independence of agencies like the FTC is that executive branch officers must “fear and obey” the president. Wow. #SCOTUS

Reminder that the entire Hunter Biden investigation was predicated on sex workers investigation.

Now Gary Shapley, who championed that investigation by badly misrepresenting it, is in a senior IRS position.
The “no tax on tips” rule as part of the Big Beautiful Bill doesn’t apply to pornographic content.

This means when someone with an OnlyFans files their taxes and expects their tips not to be taxed, the IRS needs to watch their content to decide if it’s porn or not. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Let's not kid ourselves: this may have CBS News written all over it but it's political propaganda masquerading as journalism. If it was legit, then real reporters would be in the anchor chair, not Trump approved Bari Weiss.
