Man. That TRANSFORMERS ONE movie was so good, y'know.
Unexpectedly deep exploration of the Optimus/Megatron relationship. Inventive combat that fully utilizes transformations. Surprisingly violent.

This makes me think of a conversation starter for my HK movie-loving compatriots—which “stunt gone wrong that was left in” is worse? This one from Tiger on the Beat 2 or the end explosion stunt in Devil Hunters? I struggle to even watch the one from DH. (So if you want to see it, Google it yourself)

I think I tried watching these love action Rurouni Kenshin movies once but got distracted and haven't picked them back up.

The final 40 minutes is this film are action filmmaking nirvana.
Rewatch complete of my favorite entry in this phenomenal series. Filled with amazingly colorful characters, sweeping score and jaw dropping action design by Kenji Tanagaki. Elevated by heartfelt thematic storytelling of the cost peace and redemption. An absolute action classic!
