My issue with player interviews on field is that it's distracting to the player, irrespective of the content.

Funny that they only this year became the father son pair with the most career WAR that included an Expo!

Felipe and Moises Alou each had about 40 WAR, and 82 combined, while Vlad Sr. is just under 60, and Jr. now at 25 after 4.5 this year.

I took a train from NYC to Montréal mostly to catch a game there before the Expos moved. Took the family, and the eldest, maybe 6 at the time, got to run the bases post game.

Cheaper than gas for my Accord hybrid! I'm getting about 50mpg (lower in winter), which would make it almost twice as expensive for 250 miles. And lower emissions.

I'll die on this hill: New Yankee Stadium opened in 1976, and is where Reggie hit 3 HR in game 6 the following year. The current building should be called Newer Yankee Stadium.

So you are indeed referring to Old Yankee Stadium.

Fair enough, but Trump got a far higher percentage of the vote than the Nazis ever did. Still a minority, but almost ½ of American voters chose this guy. They're not all avid supporters, and indeed some have now regretted it, but for too many Americans his authoritarianism is fine.

Both are quite good. The Jays were better head-to-head, but the Yankees finished with the same record and had a better run differential. So pretty much a toss up!

But the Jays were way better today, and are now clear favorites.
