I'm lucky to have minored in African American studies in college, but I would have missed it otherwise.
For decades most of my fellow white people couldn't understand why I was so angry about racism all the time. At least every day more of them are waking up & getting radicalized. Better late...

I was learning about lynching at ages when I had a sippy cup & nap time. White people don't know so much about this country's history of terror until late in life. They're not equipped for this moment without the cultural memory. They won't listen to those who have it.

The US is great at destabilizing countries and creating way worse conditions than whatever we supposedly intended for. ISIS only exists because of badly we did Iraq, for example.
