I'm always intrigued by what authors last after their deaths and which ones don't. Who the heck reads Updike these days? I'd predict that in twenty years or so, Philip Roth will be mostly forgotten. Conversely, in a century, I'm certain that Ursula K. Le Guin will still be read.

Having returned to hiking/backpacking, I realized yesterday that my idle (and boxed up) R8 body would make a lightweight companion. So, out of the box it came. This is me during a test of its built-in intervalometer, a feature I had previously ignored/overlooked.
