I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

DHS employees entered our store this afternoon and served us a Notice of Inspection, demanding copies of I9 forms for each employee.

In 27 years as shopkeepers, we have never been subjected to this type of investigation.

this is very much not the core of the issue. we tolerate all sorts of biological advantages and disadvantages in sports. the real fundamental question here is: why is this one different than the others?

Okay folks, one thing you need to understand about social media is that in participating in it *you* are creating rhetoric.

My recent posts are trying to address that fact and maybe get you to think a little bit harder about what your rhetoric might encourage or discourage.

In my feed today some folks insist:

1. Trump isn't *actually* going to use Insurrection Act
2. Trump can't *actually* suspend elections
3. Trump won't *actually* invade Greenland

And I'm trying to figure out what show these folks have been watching the past decade and especially the past 12 months

* more efficient (fewer people needed; no need for 14 hour shifts)
* safer
* more secure
* higher quality (less need to rush; easier to double-check candidates/choices; more accessible)
