The are no entry level IT jobs anymore. All the corporations off-shored them a decade ago, but that is a different problem.
Sorry, I should have said he dropped out two years ago. Still, tech is a highly competitive field and I don't see why anyone should expect companies to hire them for technical jobs if they only completed one year of college (possibly with no real technical training).

My father passed July 1987, right when this hit cable. I played this scene many, many times. What more can he said about this amazing, almighty, beautiful scene that hasn’t been said? Rob Reiner is one of the Greats. youtu.be/kBC5Z_bH74U?...

My 2021 Ford Mach-E allows me to set an alert when I exceed the speed limit. I would click a button that limits my speed to that. Lots of places I drive the speed limit changes frequently. There is no upside to speeding and lots of value to not. Grow up!!!!
My least popular (and most correct) view is that cars should be automatically limited to the local speed limit. Put the pedal to the floor and you still can't go over 25mph in a residential area.

(15 in Manhattan btw)
There is no possible justification for limiting e-bikes to 15mph but not cars.

I's a tie because it was a long time ago. The original Star Wars and the 70's King-Kong remake. My mom pulled us out of school to see Star Wars.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Given Biden got reamed because of "affordability" any Dem not wiling to "re-assess" tariffs on everything is a fool.
Gonna be really brutal when President Buttigieg eliminates tariffs on Chinese EVs on January 20, 2029.

Having removed my frunk to replace the 12v battery it just becomes a hood and engine compartment like any car. Replace the electric opener and the stupid jump-start cables in the portal in the bumper to open it when the 12v dies and shave couple of K$$$ off the car.

this post was funnier than yall acted like tbh
time was when i’d notice a hand sized bruise on my leg that i had no memory of getting i’d just say ‘huh!’ and assume it was poltergeists. now i google ‘leg bruise + dying?’ and let the AI search result tell me it’s poltergeists. also we ran out of jobs cash and hope

The only way to find out if Americans will buy small cars again is to get rid of tariffs and tax extra-large trucks and SUVs. American manufacturers have rarely ever tried to make small cars desirable for the local market.
“Donald Trump is right: America's cars are too big and too expensive,” Patrick George argues. But even with the president’s support, a future in which tiny cars roam the streets “may just be a pipe dream.”
Tiny Cars: ‘AMAZING!!!’
Donald Trump has fallen in love with Japan’s adorable micro-cars. Do Americans actually want them?

I was thinking this same thing. Add a public option to Medicare and make it the single largest insurer. We've had 40 years of trying to let the market figure out healthcare.
congratulations to Rand Paul on inventing

*checks notes*

single payer healthcare
Rand Paul on his healthcare plan: "What if you could join Costco? Costco has 44m members and if one person negotiated for all 44 and they bought a group plan like Toyota or General Motors does, they would be the largest collective entity in the country. They would drive prices down by sheer might."

same thing with healthcare. They should have made a few changes to the ACA restored the subsidies and called it Trumpcare.
the plan, insofar as one exists, is to just loudly state Prices Are Down into the nearest available camera for the next three years

have fun with the midterms, guys
Q: How quickly will this affect prices at the grocery store?

TRUMP: I think the prices are gonna be, ah, going down already. I mean, the prices are way down. We brought prices way down from what it was. We inherited high prices.

7 million is my number (after taxes). Enough to early retire and work a job for fun and enough to build a trust for my kids to take care of each other when I'm gone.
honestly 100 million would be okay. I don't need to be greedy.

And the Internet circa 2005. It funny how all the separate devices such as phones, MP3 players, portable GPS, were much less toxic to our society. The primary reason being the companies involved were interested in selling us stuff, not monetizing our lives.
it's a strange thing to ponder that you might have seen the peak of human technological achievement in terms of usability, adaptability and capability and it was running Windows 98

This is the problem with all the over 50 Dems. Their policy is 15 years out of date. They not only ignore Trump has changed everything, but the under 35s are looking for different things.
he has the kamala harris thing of spending his whole life preparing to run for president in a political climate that ended 15 years ago. kinda sad as a personal story but not my problem.
