Even more reason for Canadians to boycott US goods and instead buy Canadian produce whenever possible!
I said this in a video in December, adding that I've been growing my own food for 3 years so I know it's hard. A bunch of commenters told me I'm wrong & I'm just bad at farming. I'm like, yeah, I am! And I'm a smart person with lots of time, space, and resources! Take the hint! youtu.be/6Rb6GAgoaZU

We are grateful to those who built the world we live in and their struggles for a more just society.

Thanks to the labour movement we have family-supporting jobs, weekends off and safer workplaces. And they continue this proud tradition by organizing for a better future.

May we never forgive Trudeau for winning an election on electoral reform and bailing on it.

Last night NDP voters saved Canada from the surging hard right, but had to sacrifice our own party in the process.

Today the battle begins for a system where we don't have to do that any more.

We badly need a party that can save Canada from the oligarchs who brought us all to the brink.

Can you imagine Pollievre doing this interview? Nardwuar would be limited to four pre-approved questions and forced to ask them behind a concrete barrier. (Which is an actual thing Pollievre does in press events.) I'd like a PM with a human soul please, not a Trumpy robot.

There are issues everywhere, obviously, but I'm increasingly convinced that the Japanese system of houses devaluing like cars is far more rational than ours. Housing should not be a retirement investment for average families - it should be *housing*.

Raise your hand if you’ve heard this: “A government’s budget is nothing like a family’s budget.”

This might be the case for nations. But for cities, the financial reality is much closer to that of a family than it is to a federal government.

The best way to get gun control legislation is for the unplanned demographic to arm themselves.

What is happening in this country is not normal. Arm yourself, while you can.

100%. Housing should be a depreciating asset like a car which you perform upkeep on to maintain the value of, not an "investment vehicle" for passive income for the wealthy class.
A reminder that the housing crisis is a greed crisis.

Last night, every Senate Democrat voted for my amendment calling for a $17 an hour federal minimum wage while every Republican but 1 opposed it. The movement to raise the minimum wage to a living wage is growing.

In 2025, a job must lift you out of poverty, not keep you in it.

Vancouver: our municipal by-election is tomorrow. Please vote, and especially help keep ABC's candidates out of office. I'm personally voting for Sean Orr and Lucy Maloney, both of whom are great choices for the city going forward.

Every year, Canada loses up to $39 billion to corporations dodging taxes.

That's money that could:

- Build thousands of affordable homes
- Hire doctors and nurses
- Upgrade our roads and transit systems
- Create good-paying union jobs across the country
- And so much more.

I’m excited to share my latest video with Urbanarium, "Why It's So Hard to Mass-Produce Housing." Factory-built housing is a promising idea in theory, but it turns out to be a very complicated endeavor in practice—here’s why: youtu.be/26iVJfiDgP0?...
