Indeed. LGBTQ+ people won equality so hard that we'll have gay marriage for about 15 years at the rate things are going.
It’s wild to think about how people feel that MeToo, Black Lives Matter, etc went too far as we watch the rights of women and the safety of Black people being further stripped away.
It is just part of the same pattern as we’ve always seen: any inch towards equality is seen as an existential danger.

'Vending machine' is really useful, because so many of the words available to describe genAI have inherent implications of 'alive', even if only minimally - 'spit', 'regurgitate', 'hallucinate' etc. I have found this very frustrating. (continues)
