One of my favourite ever writers, Daniel Woodrell, most famous for 'Winter's Bone' but who wrote at least 2 other classics in 'Tomato Red' and 'The Death of Sweet Mister', died this weekend, aged 72. His 'Bayou Trilogy', Civil War Western 'Woe To Live On' & 'Give Us A Kiss' are also nigh on perfect.
