if anyone would like an alternative, Streamerbot recently hit version 1.0 and has a lot of the same functions as SAMMI, and it's what I use for my daily quest check-in + tavern membership card

Likewise. I built my stream from the ground-up to function alongside Sammi, and so much is going to break without it I may as well set aside time for a full fundamental rebuild later down the line.

The new sole developer is extremely pro-AI, has already started using it in the code, and is in support of its use for genAI images as well. Everyone who protested this was told to leave the server and stop using SAMMI.

I touched based about this last night, but as someone who's entire stream is run on Sammi, I cannot support using the tool any longer.
I will avoid updating the program and look for an alternative and slowly move things over. I'll try to assist those I've done sammi comms for as well. Thank you.

Anyone using SAMMI may want to reconsider. The new lead Dev silently changed the policy to allow AI art to be used in official spaces again and when called out upon, told users to stop using SAMMI if they weren't happy about it.
