this is a completely fucked move by steam for a game being developed by an award winning team of queer devs. Fucking christ
Our upcoming game HORSES was preemptively banned from Steam, with no path to appeal. The game will still launch next week on December 2nd and will be available on EGS, GOG, Humble, and Itch for $4.99. Here is a detailed FAQ covering what happened: horses.wtf/BannedFromSt...

I got so stoned at a Mets game once I compared the Jumbotron to the top screen of a Nintendo DS bc it had “a bunch of useful contextual information” and the field to the bottom screen bc “it’s where the game is actually played”

storage wars the game is actually like, fine, it's a little bidding minigame that's pretty fun. as far as bad bargain bin games go i'd put it at "you could enjoy it"

queerz is the ttrpg equivalent of a cis gay dude at the gay bar loudly lecturing me about pronouns while rupaul is on
Got a couple new additions for my good friend grace's bad board game collection today

They join Monogamy The Game, Fail to Grow: the internal Microsoft board game about having a Growth Mindset, and many others too cursed to mention

I just... ok. here's my thing with the ending of Big O.

what's more reasonable to assume.

that a series of 4 shots over 12 seconds at the end of the series are a *metaphor* for the rest of the show

or the *rest of the show is the metaphor* for those 12 seconds of footage (the "real world")

As far as “show muscle” that appeals to those on the silver screen the Rock arguably edges Richard Kind out. But in terms of the raw strength and endurance needed to perform clever remarks in both scripted and improvisational comedy, Kind clearly is more fit, and the Tony nominations tell the tale.

An all-too-common mistake is inferring the sexuality of historical figures based on contemporary standards that didn’t apply back then. For example, in the 1970s it was normal for a cop, a biker, a Native American, a construction worker, and a cowboy to be friends. It didn’t mean they were gay.

Imagine a town with only burger joints and one or two salad places 20 miles away. It would be hard to say the evidence is overwhelming that the majority of the town’s residents prefer burgers to salads. To me, that’s the suburban/urban housing preference debated distilled to its essence.
