I looked it up...over 48,000 of those SNAP households are in Clay Higgins' district.

That's around 126,000 of his constituents, or 16% of the entire population of LA-03.
Rep. Clay Higgins of Louisiana blames SNAP recipients for not stockpiling a month's worth of food.

He ends his tweet with "stop smoking crack."

Somewhere on this planet server power and natural resources are dedicated to letting a 15 year old create 40 images based on the prompt “fuckable pancake”. And yet, I’d submit that’s nothing compared to the waste embodied by this dumbshittery being hosted on a server at the NYTimes dot com

So there were some AI-generated videos that purported to show Black women ranting about SNAP benefits, and... Fox News is reporting on this like these are real people. They're not! They're AI!

This is truly insane. Total unreality. www.foxnews.com/media/snap-b...

“I haven’t seen violence like this since Rwanda. The velocity and ferocity of the RSF killing civilians since Sunday is unlike anything I’ve seen in 26 years of doing this work, and HRL [Yale Humanitarian Research Lab] has been reporting on the RSF and the Sudanese war for a while.”

Incredibly grim
“Individuals on the ground sent a message that reached us Monday morning that 1,200 were dead,” Nathaniel Raymond, the lab’s executive director, said. “By that evening, they said 10,000. By Tuesday, we couldn’t reach them anymore. We assume our ground contacts are dead.”

The Humanitarian Research Lab was told this week that over 10,000 people in Sudan were killed within three days.

When the dam breaks on these guys - and it will, because they can't control themselves and don't even see why they should - it's going to get really ugly, really fast.
Here’s a disturbing video from Evanston of a federal agent hitting a man on the ground as people yell that he can’t breathe.

Why yes I think driving down Trump's approval would be helpful in the midterms! If Ds had let the hazy concept of "salience" cloud their thinking, they might not have engaged on Abrego Garcia, missing the chance to bring his #s down on his "strong" issue, which did happen against your advice.
This is definitely a good way to raise the salience of immigration relative to the health care fight that congressional democrats are trying to center politics on.

And that in turn is definitely helpful to Pritzker's presidential ambitions.

Does it help win a senate majority?
Please note what happened here. By challenging Trump to pause his terror raids for Halloween, Pritzker forced Kristi Noem to come out *for* continuing to traumatize kids. Polarizing these debates draws attention/forces MAGA depravity into the light.

Oh no, did you burn all of your credibility because of rescissions? Are the Democrats demanding that you engage in costly signaling in order to reestablish credibility?
