As he continued down the trail I realized he actually said “beautiful dog” and I was just like, “hell yeah he is” lol

Also I'm an unlucky type who can't handle creatine monohydrate, it makes my gut very unhappy. If this is you, give creatine HCl a try. A bit more expensive, but you need less, and no GI issues.

and creatine doesn't even need to be in PWO, as long as you're getting your creatine daily it doesn't really matter when lol. but I like it first thing in the AM, so *technically* it's pre workout.

honestly... maybe I'm just old and crotchety but IMO/IME all you really need is caffeine and creatine. anything else is just making your pee expensive. though beta alanine can make you tingly and some people like that (I used to!)

For me, honestly, it was my Mom. She LOVES creepy crawlies (and her mom did too!) and passed on the passion to me. My Dad... not so much 😂

So yeah, just childhood encouragement from the family matriarchs lol. Field guides, bug collecting lots, all sorts of fun toys too.

I call it cultural arachnophobia because I firmly believe it is, in large part, taught. "Icky bugs" in general. Ever see kids with bugs? Kids love bugs. They're so often *taught* to find them icky and gross and scary.

Arachnophobia is interesting to me because it's so specific. Like, people generally aren't afraid of crabs, even though they're hairy and skitter around. And they're not afraid of bugs, even though they have about the same number of eyes. Most people will never even see a dangerous spider irl.

Sometimes. But honestly, booze naps work best for me. As in, drink a gin and tonic quickly, and immediately try to sleep. Probably not the healthiest, but it's at least effective lol
