i cannot stress enough how in this time of asking artists to justifiably move off spotify as a platform, it is also the responsibility of listeners to be willing to abandon comfort and convenience and do the same.

A tool is valued because it is useful, therefore it is only valuable when there are users of it. Art isn't a tool, art is valuable inherently as it's purpose is to be artistic.
