I know it's cliché to say this, but if you're thinking about transitioning, just fucking do it already. You can always stop if you don't like it, but if you wait years and years and then do it and realize it was the best decision you ever made, you'll bitterly regret not having done it sooner.

Conservative people do not think systemically. When something bad happens to them or someone they view sympathetically, they do not then extend that experience to "... and therefore this is wrong and we should stop it." They believe their experience is the exception.

If pronouns are "biological" now, then everyone has to go by they/them until they get a DNA test that proves they are biologically entitled to use gendered pronouns. And they have to carry that on their person to show people in order to be entitled to be called their biological pronouns.

I'm reading the Kamala Harris Book so you don't have to: I had to slow my audiobook down to 1x speed (vs. the usual 1.25-1.5) because if you speed it up she sounds as shrill as all the misogynists think she is.
