It was recommended that everyone add something to their description, but something tells me "Sherman may have been right" is a bad idea considering a lot of things he did were quite bad in fact

Here's Andrew Johnson's impeachment resolution text, in the handwriting of Rep John Covode, who introduced it (later modified to add the words "while in office"). This was voted on and resulted in Johnson's impeachment. Articles came after. Trump Imp 3.0 could be done in days.

A huge part of the book-banning project aims to make work that provides a public good feel impossible and unsafe! It targets authors, absolutely, but it’s also trying to add unreasonable administrative burdens to the work of teachers and librarians.
Officials in Tennessee aren't just banning books, they're now demanding information on who checked out contested (largely LGBTQ+) books, including names, addresses, and "household composition."

A librarian who was given the directive has come forward asking for whistleblower protections.

yeah. the people who actually redacted these files... whew.
Same.
Same with every FBI or DOJ person who looked at the files, saw the people that are in power doing unspeakable things, facing no consequences, and hit a 'redact' button.
I'm calling my reps and telling them I have to assume they're pedophiles or accomplices of pedophiles until they call for immediate impeachment. You can find your own reps here: reps.fyi

My colleagues and I have been digging through the Justice Department's initial release of the Epstein files. DOJ says it will release more in coming weeks, missing its legally required deadline.

Reaction has been scathing.

The headline has to be "Justice Department released Epstein files but illegally redacts 'politically exposed individuals'," right?

Like surely they can't just ignore the law, redact their friends, and get away with it because news agencies will pretend the crystal-clear law is unclear?

Filing closed in North Carolina three hours ago and no one filed to primary Don Davis. According to Politics1, 3rd parties and independents have until March 3rd to file to run.
Major party filing closes tomorrow in North Carolina & Don Davis doesn't have a primary challenger. So either there's a surprise qualifier or people are going to have to get real comfortable with supporting a 3rd party or independent option. Otherwise, it'll just be a choice between two fascists.
