As I said in July as CU was preparing to put up this statue, "One of the most prominent bigots in recent Colorado history is a man named Bill McCartney." @boulderrl.bsky.social reports that CU this weekend barred the press and erected a statue of McCartney, celebrating a man who hurt many people.

I’m morbidly curious about where everyone is from. I wish Bluesky had this feature.
Now I can't watch this Eagles game because of my belief that whenever I develop a rooting interest, that team loses. (It's a Kansas-based rule but I'm expanding.)
And I'm about to be among Eagles fanatics for a week who will be grumpy if they lose today.

Also let's just not take replication results as facts regardless of which hunches they confirm. And let's stop circling p-values and its variations (e.g., dissing calculated CIs because they come too close to some threshold) as if that's some serious statistical criticism.
