We’ve already seen quite a few examples of ICE agents trying to kidnap someone and eventually giving up and running away because a crowd had gathered and shouted them down. That’s EFFECTIVE.

A lot of folks may think that just yelling at ICE agents is ineffective, but consider the cumulative psychological toll of being yelled at EVERY DAY when trying to do shit. Even the biggest asshole in the world who doesn't give a shit about other people will feel the pressure.

I can see how pornographic content could be made addictive through the use of predatory tactics, but that's like saying video games are always addictive/wrong/gross because predatory gacha games exist. It's the specific mechanics that are a problem, not the content itself.

"This Land is Your Land" is a much better anthem, and easier to sing (my preschool sang the first verse because nobody's getting 4 year olds to sing the Star-Spangled Banner). Look up Woody Guthrie to see why that would require a revolution though.

It's time for people to migrate to an OS that doesn't regard them as a product. That leaves Linux and...a bunch of nifty OSes that are worse in desktop usability (e.g. OpenBSD) and/or have approximately zero software/hardware support (e.g. Haiku). Almost every device have runs some Linux variant.

Yes. I buy being young, drunk, stupid, testosterone-poisoned, and with buddies, getting a symbol you don't recognize at a sketchy tattoo parlor in a foreign country. Keeping it after 20 years & studying a bit of military history in the meantime? Not a good look at all.
