Good piece about some very bad editorials, which I find more depressing than enraging. They have no apparent audience (besides Bezos) and lack basic fluency in the legal concepts they discuss. Both asinine and utterly pointless. Can someone who understands the law at least write them?
It is hard to overstate how shallow and embarrassing the Washington Post Editorial Board's analysis is whenver it tries to write about the law. They don't make arguments so much as they crank out half-assed jumbles of buzzwords that they hope will make Jeff Bezos happy. Don't care for it at all!

Cox and Polis both love *the idea* of geothermal, but it has yet to materialize, meanwhile solar, wind and storage are here and cheap. The green energy is always in another castle for these people.
Really cannot overstate the degree to which the lanyard-circuit capital-A Abundance movement is detached from material on-the-ground policy outcomes like these. It's pure simulacrum.

The immigration “judge” allegedly sua sponte — meaning without any request by a party, which is obviously a lie given the circumstances — “corrected” the 2019 order to fix a “scrivener’s error” and order Mr Abrego Garcia deported.
